A Very Easy Recipe For Making Cassava Bread

Those who have not tried the famous cassava bread or cake have been living under a rock because this is one of the best desserts that was even invented. With its unique taste and soft texture, it has attracted a lot of food lovers worldwide. Of course it is also possible to make it with this simple recipe because it is fairly simple to make.

Now the baking is fairly simple because all it takes is just mixing all the ingredients together and putting it on the stove for it to cook. The hard part here is the gathering of all of the ingredients because there are actually a lot of it to collect. Once all the materials and ingredients are collected, then making the bread is actually very easy and can be done in a jiffy.

Now the ingredients that one will need are the fresh cassava, two tablespoons of flour, milk, an egg, some oil, some baking soda, and of course lime juice. First, take out the carton of milk and put approximately one third of it inside a small cup. Make sure that all the other ingredients except the flour are one teaspoon so that the taste will be there.

To start the whole process, the first thing to do would be to get a big bowl and dump all the ingredients inside. One should first put in the cassava, the flour, the sugar, and the baking soda. When that is done, he should mix in the egg, the milk, the oil, and the lime juice and stir it until it becomes thick.

When the batter has been thoroughly mixed, get a frying pan and put some oil in it. Heat up the pan and lot the oil mix with the pan but make sure that the oil does not stick to the pan otherwise it will get burned. From there, fill up the pan with some of the batter and let it stay there for a while.

This part of the process is rather easy already because one has to just wait for the batter to form and turn into the bread. Now one of the most important things to take note of would be to put the heat on medium so that the cake will not be burned. If that is already dealt with, then one must just wait for five or ten minutes to pass.

When the ten minutes are already done, then the bread should already be fully formed. Now before serving it, always make sure that it is cooled down because when it is still hot, then it is not yet hard enough to eat. If one would want, he can actually serve it with some grated coconut if he would want some extra flavor.

As one may observe, it is actually so easy and quick to make cassava bread. It does not even take more than thirty minutes because the cooking time is only a maximum of ten minutes. Even a person with no idea how to cook or bake may do this easily.
