Secondly, all of them have properties that can help stop instances of inflammation like allergic reactions and the like. Thirdly, all of them have been associated with weight loss because they help the consumer have a better diet although not fully proven yet.

Each seasoning has its own different benefit although all of them have the main three benefits mentioned above. Cinnamon is a favorite among many people because of its unique kind of flavor which can mix with almost every dish. Aside from its superb taste, it also has a component known as polyphenol which is a natural insulin and can help with regulating blood sugar levels.

Oregano, which is another very famous spice, is known to have probably the most antioxidants out of all the spices and seasonings. In addition to that, oregano is a great seasoning and adjunct to many other dishes like pasta or steak. It is a wonderful seasoning that can make a meal taste really good and let it become a healthy dish for the eater.

Turmeric is another great spice that is known for its flavor when it is added to curry or some types of soups. Basically, turmeric can help with cognitive illnesses and prevent decline in the brain. One may say that it can help prevent brain diseases like Alzheimer disease and other brain related ones.

Thyme is another great kind of seasoning that can help with respiratory problems. Thyme can help with breathing issues such as asthma and other kinds of lung problems. Thyme also has a chemical inside named thymol which is an anti fungal component which can even destroy unfriendly bacteria that can be located inside the gut or digestive system.

Of course the most famous of all of the seasonings and herbs is ginger because it probably is the most commonly used for medicine. Ginger has special components that can help with digestive issues and may even completely take away feelings of nausea. People even can use ginger as a pain killer in case they have a stomach ache or a head ache.

The whole fact that people of the olden days relied on these herbs meant that there must be something about them that can cure many diseases.
